Why in News?

• The Khemraj Committee, constituted by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to study and analyze the demands of various employee organizations, submitted its final report.

Key Points:

=> The state government will examine the report submitted by the committee and take appropriate action keeping in mind the interests of the employees.

=> The Committee had earlier submitted its interim report on 2nd February, 2022, which has been implemented.

=> It is noteworthy that in the budget for the year 2021-22, the Chief Minister had announced the formation of a high-level committee to study and analyze the demands of various employees and officers organizations.

=> In the implementation of the said budget announcement, the Employees' Pay Discrepancy Testing Committee was constituted under the chairmanship of Khemraj Chaudhary (retired IAS).
