Egypt was the Partner Nation of Surajkund International Crafts Mela 2017 held on Wednesday, 1st February,2017 to showcase some of the most exquisite handloom, handicraft and culture diversity of India and other countries. The Egyptian participants have presented a wide array of spectacles, ranging from arts and crafts provided by a skilled team of artisans, to cultural displays in forms of song and dance by the “Egyptian National Folklore Troupe”, along with other attractions that complement the main theme of the Mela.
