Explanation:

The state government organised the third chapter of the Agri Leadership Summit in Rohtak from March 16 to 18. The event provided an opportunity to progressive farmers from across the country to interact with policymakers, scientists and technologists.

The government also organised a roundtable conference of ‘Top 100 in Agriculture’ at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University, Hisar, on February 23 to raise the gross income of farmers to Rs 1 lakh per acre.

Nearly one lakh farmers each from different states and other stakeholders associated with agriculture sector was recorded in the first two summits organised in Gurugram and Faridabad in 2015 and 2017, respectively.

Different sessions, workshops and seminars on peri-urban agriculture, climate smart agriculture, organic village, zero budget agriculture, soil health and milk production are organised during the summit.
