Why In News?
=> In a workshop organized under Project-Aarambh on November 21, 2022, at the Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT) Auditorium, Sanjay Behl, Director General, Computer Emergency Response Team-India (CERT-In), told that in the next 10 years, there is a need to prepare one million cyber engineers. and by the year 2027, Jharkhand will be promoted as the Cyber Defense Corridor of the world.
Key Points:
=> Sanjay Behl said that work is being done to attract investment of five billion dollars in Jharkhand for cyber security.
=> He said that cyber-crime has become a global problem and there is a need for everyone to work together to deal with it. In this direction, clusters will have to be formed and about three lakh cyber forces will also be appointed in the country to deal with this burning problem.
=> In the program organized in the auditorium of JUT, Secretary of Higher and Technical Education Department Rahul Purwar said that to deal with this problem, there is a need to make people aware by going from village to village and arranging training to trainers.
=> He said that there is a need to prepare a roadmap to complete this dream project and the fixed fee for the faculty development program will be paid by the state government.
