Explanation:

 The growing demand on the natural resources has put wild populations of many of our invaluable medicinal plants under stress. To promote the conservation of medicinal plants a comprehensive Medicinal Plants Policy was adopted during the year 2006 and dialogue amongst various stakeholders initiated towards conservation and management of medicinal plant resources of the state and following projects are being implementation in the state.
