Rajasthan Film Tourism Promotion Policy has been announced to be launched at the inaugural session of Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM)

Principal secretary tourism Gayatri Rathore in this regard recently said that as part of the policy, the government will give subsidies and incentives up to Rs 2 crore for all kinds of films, be it regional, Bollywood, Hollywood or OTT.

Speaking at an event organized for the forthcoming Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM), Principal Secretary Tourism said a 360-degree marketing and branding campaign has been started by the government.

As part of this plan, hoardings at prominent airports and railways, in-flight advertising, taking bloggers and influencers into rural areas of Rajasthan for writing about the unknown destination have already started.

‘Rajasthan Calling’ roadshows will also be organized in many cities across the country including Bangalore, Lucknow, Gurugram, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad, among others.

Rajasthan has immense potential for investment in the tourism sector. The state government has made many initiatives like Rajasthan Tourism Policy 2020, Rajasthan Home Stay (Paying Guest Scheme) 2021, Rajasthan Tourism Guest House Scheme 2021, etc. which will all go a long way in accelerating investment in the tourism sector.
