Explanation:

 In the National Family Planning Conference held in New Delhi under the Family Welfare Program, Rajasthan has been rewarded at the national level for the achievements of ensuring accessible services of family planning and 'intra contraceptive injection' for women in the state.

The Government Secretary, Medical and Health Department of Rajasthan, Dr. Prithvi informed that the Antararaj application, e-counselling, e-learning module have been implemented for easy availability of family welfare means, intra-injection, follow-up and intensive monitoring in the state.

As a result, so far more than 5 lakh women have adopted this tool in the state. So far, a total of 10 lakh intra-injection doses have been administered.

‘AntaraRaj’ is a web-based application launched by the health department of Rajasthan to track women using Antara injectable contraceptive and send them reminders, through SMSes, about the next dose to minimise drops outs. This contraceptive prevents pregnancy for three months.

This web application was launched by the health minister of Rajasthan on World Population Day, in 2018.
