Rajasthan has registered unprecedented progress in all areas of solar energy including ground mount, rooftop, and off-grid in the year 2021.
In the direction of making Rajasthan a leader in the field of green energy-clean energy, the state's Solar Energy Policy-2019 has played very crucial part for the investors. The provisions of the progressive solar power energy policy have brought a revolutionary change in the field of solar energy in the state.
With its abundance of sunlight, Rajasthan has tremendous potential to emerge as one of the leaders in solar power generation.
According to the Government of India’s policy for the solar sector – Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) – a target of 20 GW of solar installations by 2022 has been set.
