=> President Ram Nath Kovind inaugurated the Sant Kabir Academy and Research Centre and Swadesh Darshan Yojana at Maghar in Sant Kabir Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh.

Key Points:

=> President Ram Nath Kovind is the second President to arrive at Maghar in Sant Kabir Nagar, before missile man A. P. J. Abdul Kalam came here as president.

=> It may be mentioned that Swadesh Darshan Yojana is a Central Sector Scheme launched by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Government of India in the year 2014-15 with the objective of integrated development of thematic tourism circuit.

=> The objective of the scheme is to promote, develop and exploit the potential of tourism in India.

=> Under the Swadesh Darshan Scheme, the Ministry of Tourism provides Central Financial Assistance (CFA) to the State Governments, Union Territory Administrations for development of circuit infrastructure.
