Malanjkhand also referred to as MCP (acronym for Malanjkhand Copper Project) is an open-pit copper mine in India, located near the town of Malanjkhand, 90 kilometres (56 mi) northeast of Balaghat in Madhya Pradesh, at an altitude of 576 MRL. It falls in the tehsil of Birsa, which is 4–5 kilometres (2.5–3.1 mi) from the project, on the way to Raipur, Madhya Pradesh State. It is located nearby to the Kanha National Park. It is the largest base metal mine in India.
