Why in News?

=> India's first bullet crusher machine was recently installed at the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy.

• The shell of the cartridge used in this machine is destroyed.

Key Points:

=> Using this machine, the used bullet will not be able to be reused.

=> This system will not lead to misuse of cartridges.

=> It may be recalled that more than 100 players in shotgun, pistol and rifle disciplines of shooting at the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy are undergoing training from international coaches Mansher Singh, Jaspal Rana and Suma Shirur by the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare.

=> Apart from this, nutritionists, psychologists, sports science doctors, strength and conditioning trainers are also available for the players.

=> Work on the 50m final shooting range at the International Level Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy is in progress.

=> International level competitions require a separate final shooting range.

=> On its completion, the Asia Cup and other international shooting competitions will be held.
