What is the news?

=> The Central Government has sanctioned an amount of Rs 1,718 crore to Assam to complete the ambitious process of hundred per cent electrification of all the households in the State.

=> The Government is also planning to involve all the legislators in the process to reduce the chances of corruption.

=> The Government is aiming for 100 per cent electrification of all the households in the State.

=> He said that it would take around two to three years to complete the project.
