Current news:

=> No deaths or injuries were reported.
=> The tornado started from the banks of the Brahmaputra river, which flows close to Rowmari village, and remained restricted to a small area.
Tornadoes:
=> Tornadoes are formed when cold air packet meets a warm air packet.
=> The warmer wind having more speed and more energy starts climbing over the cool air packet.
=> When the warm Wind rises it leads to formation of large cumulonimbus clouds and heavy rainfall associated with huge thunderstorm.
=> When the clouds becomes too heavy it falls to a particular location causing massive damage.
=> Tornadoes formation mechanism is similar to that of Cyclones.
=> But unlike cyclones which are found on ocean, tornadoes are formed on land.
=> Tornadoes occur in many places across the globe, but they are most likely to form in the United States.
=> In fact, the United States has more tornadoes each year than any other country.
Why?
=> The moist, warm air from the Gulf of Mexico frequently meets the cool, dry air from Canada, which prompts formation of Tornadoes.
