The government of Rajasthan  is actively playing its role and is working on a plan for making the country TB-free by 2025.

If efforts are made at the individual and community level with the government, the state of Rajasthan will soon become TB-free.

The state government is focusing on incentives to TB patients to encourage them to continue taking the treatment.

Under the institutional scheme of the Rajasthan government in this regard, the bank account details of TB patients are uploaded on the NIKSHAY portal and all patients are paid the prescribed amount in their bank account under the NIKSHAY nutrition scheme.

Additionally, TB champions are also identified in villages who play a major role in removing the misconceptions about the disease in society under the eradication programme.

The government is arranging counseling sessions for people, community participation is focused upon  and various other activities like gram sabha, Jan Arogya Samiti meeting, wellness session for TB patients, poster competition etc are also be organised for TB awareness.
