Why in news:

• Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) recently organised a meeting with the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India, (CREDAI), Rajasthan.
• The meet was held with an aim to provide employment opportunity and bring domestic investors during the Invest Rajasthan Summit-2022.

Key Points:

• After the meeting, the officials believe new opportunities for industrial development, employment in tourism sector will be created in Jaipur.
• In the meeting, a leading real estate developer from Jaipur claimed that during the Invest Rajasthan Summit-2022, an investment of about Rs 10,000 crore will be made by his group.
• The group will start the work of the second phase of amusement park in Mansarovar.
• Similarly, a medical college will be constructed within 10km radius of medical hospital established on Shiprapath in Mansarovar.
• Along with this, three industrial cities will be developed in Jaipur city, in which about 2,000 industries will be established.
• Two integrated townships will also be developed, which will have about 3,000 plots.
• An IT hub will also be developed, where corporate offices will be made available for the cities of Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Moreover, residential activities will also be encouraged in these schemes.
• The group informed the civic body that two working women's hostel would be built by us on Jagatpura-Tonk road.
• Other members (builders) of CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India) present in the meeting also asked to develop residential and commercial townships.
• Jaipur Development Commissioner speaking on the occasion said that Rajasthan is a state with immense industrial potential. The Invest Rajasthan Summit-2022 will not only lead to development of Jaipur but will also open up new employment opportunities.
• In the budget 2021-22, chief minister of Rajasthan had announced that investor summit will be organised to attract new investors in the state. The authority is making efforts to increase investment in for real estate sectors,
• Suggestions were given by various CREDAI members that relaxation and concessions should be provided in water-electricity connection, stamp duty for developing township and plotted scheme.
• After receiving the feedback from various members, the problems will be resolved at JDA level. The problem that cannot be resolved by the JDA will be forwarded to the state government.
