The Directorate of Local Bodies (DLB) has recently approved a proposal to have uniforms for employees of the Indira Rasoi across the state.

Both men and women will get a red t-shirt with blue jeans, cap, apron and a jersey for winters.

The women employees will also have another uniform option of red saree with blue blouse.

Indira Rasoi Yojana

The scheme was launched in August 2020.

The aim of the scheme is to provide nutritious food to the poor and needy twice a day at concessional rates.

The Rajasthan government scrapped the previous Annapurna Rasoi Yojana which was offering breakfast and lunch on the lines of Tamil Nadu’s Amma Unavagam (mother’s canteen).
