Digital University, recently in news, has been planned to be established in which of the following cities by the Rajasthan government?
Jaipur
Jodhpur
Kota
None of the above
Recently, Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra asked the state's universities to set an example for other states in implementing the new education policy and deciding the curriculum under it.
The governor made the comments while virtually addressing the 18th convocation of Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur Rajasthan.
Currently, efforts are being made by the state government in a phased manner to implement the National Education policy 2020 for the upcoming academic season via interaction with the vice-chancellors of various universities from time to time.
Rajasthan Chief Minister recently remarked that Jodhpur is the only big city in the nation to have various nationally reputed higher educational institutions, like the Indian Institute of Technology, All India Institute of Medical Science, National Institute of Fashion Technology, Footwear Design and Development Institute, National Law University and Police University.
As per the current plans, the government will also be setting up a digital university in the city for which the state government has sanctioned Rs 400 crore, the process of land allotment for which is underway.
