Recently, 'Mukhyamantri Ghasyari Kalyan Yojana' was launched by Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his one-day visit to Uttarakhand.

• Along with this, the work of computerization of all 670 multipurpose primary agricultural credit cooperative societies of the state was also duly completed.

Key Points:

=> Under this scheme started under the cooperative department of the state, every woman of the animal husbandry family will be given a kit by the state government, which will include two hoe, two sickles, a water bottle and a tiffin.

=> Along with this, nutritious fodder will be supplied for animals in remote rural mountain areas through 7,771 centers under the scheme.

=> Packaged silage and total mixed ration will be provided to livestock farmers in these areas.

=> With the implementation of this scheme, women will get freedom from the work of fodder and animal husbandry based economics of the state will improve, because agriculture and animal husbandry is the main source of livelihood of more than 70% population of the state.
