=> Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the ambitious Assam Micro Finance Incentive and Relief Scheme-2021 at Collegiate High School playground in Tezpur.

Provisions of Assam Micro Finance Incentive and Relief Scheme-2021 1.

1. Budgetary allocation of Rs 7,500 crore.

2. Categorisation of the borrowers in three groups

• Regularly repaying-Rs 25,000 money assistance
• Who didn’t pay for 1-89 days- Rs 25,000 and clearing off of overdues
• “stressed and destitute” whose loans have been rendered Non Performing Assets (NPA)-complete waive off

For the third category, applicants need to apply through a format for consideration under the scheme.
