Under the joint aegis of Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi and Marudesh Sansthan, Sujangarh, Gram Lok and Kanhaiya Lal Sethia Rajasthani Bhasha Seva Samman ceremony was organized at Mahatma Gandhi Government School, Bhivsar in Churu district.

=> On this occasion, Kanhaiya Lal Sethia Rajasthani Bhasha Seva Samman for the year 2021 was presented to Dr. Shivdan Singh Ranawat Jolawas, President of Ami Sansthan Udaipur.

=> Justice Gopal Krishna Vyas, Chairman, Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission was the chief guest of the event, while Madhu Acharya, Convener of Rajasthani Language Consultation Board, Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi presided over the program.

=> On this occasion, Madhu Acharya said that Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi is doing important work for Rajasthani language and literature and this event of Gram Lok is an innovative initiative to promote Rajasthani language and literature in rural areas.

=> Mahakavi Kanhaiyalal Sethia, who is called the father of Rajasthani, was a famous poet of Rajasthani language.

• He was also honored with Panshree, Sahitya Akademi Award in 2004 and Moortidevi Sahitya Puraskar of Jnanpith in 1988.

=> Kanhaiyalal Sethia was a great writer of Rajasthani language as well as a freedom fighter, social worker, reformer, philanthropist and environmentalist.
