Enthused by record-breaking enrolment of new students in government schools across the state in this session, the Department of School Education has decided to felicitate school heads and teachers who played a vital role in making their village/ward ‘zero dropout’.
The department has directed its District Education Officers (DEOs) to organise a special felicitation function on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. “The total number of enrolment in government schools across the state has crossed 25 lakh and over 4.40 lakh new students have taken admissions in government schools in the past two years.
