Punjab Government’s ‘Ambassador of Hope’ initiative, saw participation from over a lakh students from both – public and private schools, who sent across their messages for the world. That, eventually, went on to break the world record of the ‘largest participation in an online initiative’.
An initiative was started by the Punjab government where it involved schoolchildren sending in their videos of them talking about the pandemic and spreading positivity during such tough times. Known as ‘Ambassador of Hope’, it was started by the state government in order to spread some hope and positivity around during such times.
The COVID-19 crisis has entirely changed the way, the world used to operate. In these unprecedented times, among other sectors, education is also the one which has been strongly impacted. There has been a sudden shift to online learning without proper planning, specially in countries like India where the backbone for e-learning was not ready and the curriculum was not designed for such a format.
The record was earlier held by Phillipines as they had got 43,157 participants in an eight-day-long online competition.
‘Ambassadors of Hope‘ online contest which announced for children to exhibit their talent and creativity amid the lockdown.
