Which of the following is the state dance of Madhya Pradesh ?
Maanch
Phulpati
Jawara
Matki
Maanch dance is a lyrical folk ballet originating from the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It hails from the Malwa region of the state. It is a distinct form of a folk dance from the other folk dances of the state. The style of the dance appears to be very different from the other tribal folklore. Maanch can be described as a drama, ballet or an Indian form of Opera. During the earlier times, Maanch was performed only in the native Malwi language; however, nowadays it has also been translated into Hindi, for a country wide understanding of the ballet.
