Correct option 3: 6:11

Let the distance between A and B be 72w km.
Speed of P = 72w/8 = 9w km/h
Speed of Q = 72w/9= 8w km/h

Time difference = 08.00 a.m. - 06.00 a.m. = 2 hours
Since the speed of P is 9w/h, AC = 9w x 2 = 18w km
At 08.00 a.m., P is at C.
At 08.00 a.m., the distance between P and Q = 72w- 18w = 54w km
Time taken by them to meet at M = 54w/(9w+8w) = 54/17 hours
So,
CM = (54/17 x 9w) = 486/17
AM = AC + CM = 18w +486w/17792w/17
BM = (54/17 x 8w) = 432w/17
Now, the ratio of the distance travelled by Q to the distance travelled by P
⇒ BM: AM
⇒432w/17: 792w/17
