The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) has signed an MoU with the Sri Aurobindo Society under the Rupantar initiative to promote inclusive education for children with disabilities.

• The government launched "Project Inclusion" in partnership with the Sri Aurobindo Society under the Rupantar initiative on July 7, 2025.
• The project aims to train teachers, counsellors, and rehabilitation professionals using mobile and web-based digital tools.
• It aligns with Sections 16, 17, and 47 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016, ensuring the right to inclusive education.
