total value of the letters of the word RADICAL?

Explanation:

Given that A = 1, B =3 , C=5 , D=7 ..... And so on
Then the alphabet position followed n^th alphabet = 2 × n − 1
therefore the RADICAL total value
R = 2 × 18 − 1 = 35 (R = 18 alphabet position)
A = 2 × 1 − 1 = 1
D = 2 × 4 − 1 = 7
I = 2 × 9 − 1 = 17
C = 2 × 3 − 1 = 5
A = 2 × 1 − 1 = 1
L = 2 × 12 − 1 = 23
Total value = 35+1+7+17+5+1+23 = 89 Ans
