DMRC said HUDA City Centre station on the Delhi Metro's Yellow Line will be renamed Millennium City Centre Gurugram, hours after announcing that it will be rechristened Gurugram City Centre.

• The station falls in Haryana's Gurugram, a bustling IT and commercial hub in the National Capital Region (NCR) that is known as Millennium City.
• The elevated HUDA City Centre metro station, as part of the Qutub Minar-HUDA City Centre segment was opened on June 21, 2010.
• Last month, the Union Cabinet approved the extension of the metro network from HUDA City Centre to Cyber City in Gurugram. With 27 stations, the route will stretch over 28.5 kilometres. The stretch will be built over the next four years at an estimated cost of Rs 5,452.7 crore.
