Passing a special resolution in the general meeting of the company
Passing an ordinary resolution in the general meeting of the company
Passing a special resolution in general meeting of the company and after approval from Central Government.
Cannot be converted to private company.
As per the provisions of Companies Act, 2013 a public company can be converted into private company by passing a special resolution in general meeting of the company and after approval from Central Government. Its AOA is also required to be altered to put the restrictions of a private company.
