Explanation:

As per section 408 of Companies Act, 2013, Central Government may appoint the directors but not more than 2 in number and for a period not exceeding 3 years, to prevent oppression and mismanagement in company on the application of at least 100 members of the company or on the application of members holding at least 10% of total voting rights
