In case the total number of directors in a company are 7, the quorum for the board meeting will be:

Two directors

Three directors

One director

Four directors

As per section 174 of Companies Act, 2013 the quorum for board meeting shall be:

1/3 of its total strength of directors, or

Two directors

Whichever is higher

Any fraction arising in counting of 1/3 will be rounded off as one.
