Month-long Prime Minister’s Overarching Scheme for Holistic Nutrition (POSHAN) Maah 2022, which aims to address the challenge of malnutrition in a mission-mode, was launched across Nagaland.

• This year, the objective of POSHAN Abhiyaan is to trigger “Poshan Maah” with key focus on “Mahila aur Swasthya” and “Bacha aur Shiksha”.
• The aim of POSHAN Abhiyaan, celebrated annually in the month of September, is to address the challenge of malnutrition in a mission mode. This year, India is celebrating the fifth Rashtriya POSHAN Maah.
• To take the message of good nutrition and its pivotal role to every nook and cranny, various activities will be undertaken throughout the month of September.
