LIC launches IT Platform ‘e-PGS’ for group business operation

The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has launched a new IT platform for its group business operations, under the name ‘e-PGS’.
e-PGS has been launched as a centralized web-based work-flow-based IT platform, providing centralized collection and payment accounting with high level of bank integration through host to host connectivity.
The portal would provide very innovative features of seamless and integrated banking with automatic reconciliations.
e-PGS would also provide comprehensive self-servicing capabilities through customer portal where corporate customers will be able to view their data, initiate actionable processes, lodge and track claims.
