Congress Leader and Former Kerala Minister Ramachandran passes away at 84

Veteran Congress leader and former state minister of Kerala, K K Ramachandran has passed away following a heart attack. He was 84.
Popularly known as Ramachandran Master, he had represented the party as an MLA six times, which included three times from Kalpetta and thrice from Sultan Bathery Assembly constituency.
Ramachandran was Minister for Food & Civil Supplies in the A K Antony Government from 1995 and Health Minister in the Oommen Chandy Government from 2004.
He resigned in 2006 and later in 2011, following differences of opinion with the party, he was ousted from Congress party.
