Former PM Manmohan Singh dies at 92

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, 92, passed away at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences here late on Thursday (December 26, 2024) evening.

  • Singh became one of India’s longest serving prime ministers, holding the office from 2004 to 2014 and earning a reputation as a man of great personal integrity.
  • Singh adopted a low profile after relinquishing the post of prime minister. He is survived by his wife and three daughters.
  • The mortal remains of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will be cremated at Nigambodh Ghat in Delhi on Saturday( 28 December 2024).
