The name of Ayodhya Railway Station has been changed to “Ayodhya Dham” Junction ahead of the inauguration of the Ram Temple.

• The temple will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 22. 
• Indian Railways accepted the proposal shared by the Uttar Pradesh government to rename the station. However, the station code will remain the same. 
• The Ayodhya Dham Railway Station offers a range of facilities that surpass typical railway stations and even meet airport standards. 
• These facilities provide passengers with comprehensive information about spiritual and tourist destinations in the area, including the Shri Ram Temple, and convenient means of access. Additionally, all floors are connected to fire exits, ensuring a safe evacuation route in case of unforeseen situations.
