Post that Professor of Alderfer theory took his interview and concluded that his needs related to Existence are fully satisfied. Mr. Sharma said it cannot be possible as verdicts of both the professors are contradictory. What do you think who is right and who is wrong?
Mr. Sharma is Wrong as both the Professors have made a same conclusion which is not contradictory
Professor of Maslow Need's theory is right
Professor of Alderfer Need theory is right
None of them is right
Mr. Sharma is Wrong. Both Maslow and Alderfer have the same view. Lower order needs of Maslow hierarchy are indeed existence factor in Alderfer theory,Alderfer further developed Maslow's hierarchy of needs by categorizing the hierarchy into his ERG theory (Existence, Relatedness and Growth).
