The Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA) has partnered with Kotak Mahindra Bank to launch a nationwide digital investor education campaign, aiming to promote financial literacy and safeguard investor rights.

Key Points

• IEPFA and Kotak Mahindra Bank have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on investor education initiatives. ?
• The partnership will leverage Kotak Mahindra Bank's extensive digital and physical network, including over 2,000 branches and 3,000 ATMs, to disseminate investor education content. 
• Curated educational materials developed by IEPFA, such as digital banners, short films, and educational videos, will be featured on various platforms, including ATMs, mobile apps, websites, kiosks, and social media channels.
• The campaign aims to raise awareness about responsible investing, prevent financial fraud, and protect investor rights.
• The initiative is set to roll out in the financial year 2025–2026 and comes at no financial cost to IEPFA.
• The MoU was exchanged between Samiksha Lamba, Deputy General Manager at IEPFA, and Vishal Agarwal, Senior Vice President at Kotak Mahindra Bank, in the presence of Anita Shah Akella, CEO of IEPFA and Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. ?
