India celebrates National Security Day on March 4 every year also known as Rashtriya Suraksha Diwas. 

• This day is celebrated to honour and express gratitude to the Indian Security Forces, including the police, paramilitary units, guards, commandos, and army officers, for their tireless efforts to preserve the safety and security of the citizens.
• The National Safety Council of India has announced that the theme for National Security Day 2023 will be ‘Nurture young minds – Develop safety culture’.
