Satya Nadella appointed as Chairman of Microsoft

Satya Nadella has been named the new Chairman of Microsoft. Presently he was serving as the CEO of the company.
Satya Nadella will replace John Thompson as the Chairman. Nadella holds more than 1.6 million shares of Microsoft.
John Thompson replaced Bill Gates as Chairman in 2014. In the same year, Nadella replaced Steve Ballmer as the Microsoft CEO.
