Amir Khusro, a Sufi musician, scholar and poet from India made the remark "Every pearls in the royal crown is but the crystallized drop of blood fallen from the tearful eyes of the poor peasant". Amir Khusrow was born in Patiyali near Etah currently in Uttar Pradesh, India in 1253. The Delhi Sultanate during that period was the son of Amir Saif ud-Din Mahmud. Amir Khusro worked hard to unite people, belonging to different religion and communities of India.
