Consider the following statements – 

(i) In case of conviction of accused at one trial of two or more offences, the Court may direct the punishments awarded for the offences to run concurrently 

(ii) In case of conviction of accused at one trial of two or more offences, the punishments shall be undertaken one after another unless the Court directs that such punishment shall run concurrently

(iii) For the purpose of appeal by a convicted person in case of consecutive sentences, each sentence shall be taken as single sentence and not the aggregate will be counted
