Explanation:

The local limits of the jurisdiction of a Subordinate Judge shall be such as the High Court may define and when the High Court posts a Subordinate Judge to district, the local limits of the district shall, in the absence of any direction to the contrary, be deemed to be the limits of his. jurisdiction.
