A is in the house, which is on fire, with Z, a child, people below hold out a blanket. A drops the child from the house top, knowing it to be likely that the fall may kill the child and intending in good faith the child’s benefit, the child is killed by the fall.

A will be guilty of murder, as he dropped the child well knowing that he may be killed by the fall.

A will not be guilty of murder of the child as he never intended to kill him.

A will not be guilty of murder of the child, as the act was done in the good faith for the child’s benefit.

A will be guilty of murder of the child, as the risk was taken without the consent of the guardian of the child.
