Inexhaustible resources are the resources which cannot be finished by human activities such as soil, water and sunlight. Some of such resources include wind, sun, solar energy, tides, and geothermal energy. They are mostly the natural occurring resources hence they reappear naturally.
Conventional sources of energy are the natural energy resources which are present in a limited quantity and are being used for a long time. They are called non-renewable sources as once they are depleted, they cannot be generated at the speed which can sustain its consumption rate.
Under the category of renewable energy or non-conventional energy are such sources as the sun, wind, water, agricultural residue, firewood, and animal dung.
The non-renewable sources are the fossil fuels such as coal, crude oil, and natural gas. Energy generated from the sun is known as solar energy.
