NOx (nitrogen oxides), CO (carbon monoxide), benzene are main sources of air pollution. Nitrogen oxides has a characteristic sharp, bitting odour. CO is yet non-irritating gas and benzene has aromatic, gasoline like odour which can’t be tolerated even at very low level can be lethal at higher concentration.
