- Let's denote the marks obtained by A, B, and C as a, b, and c respectively.
- The total marks equation is a+b+c=207.
- A scores 34 of B's marks, so a=34b.
- B scores 3 more than the average of A, B, and C, so b=(a+b+c)3+3.
- Solving these equations:
- Substitute a=34b and b=(a+b+c)3+3 into a+b+c=207.
- Solve the equations to find a and c.
- After solving, the ratio of a to c is found to be 8:9.
- Option:2, 8:9 is the correct answer.
