_______ a.i./ha has been recommended for the control of weeds in mungbean:
Basalin @ 1 kg
2, 4-D @ 1 litre
Simazine @ 1 kg
Atrazine @ 1 kg
Basalin is a man-made form of a hormone that is produced in the body. It works by lowering levels of glucose in the blood. Basalin is a long-acting form of insulin that is slightly different from other forms of insulin that are not man-made. Basalin is used to treat type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Basalin may also be used for purposes not listed in Basalin guide.
Basalin is a long-acting insulin and is administered subcutaneously once daily at any time during the day. It should be administered at the same time every day. 30 to 50% of the daily insulin requirement may be provided by glargine. Insulin dosage should be individualized to achieve/maintain a target blood glucose level and is determined by various factors including body weight, body fat, physical activity, insulin sensitivity, blood glucose levels, and target blood glucose. Conventional regimen: The total daily insulin dose is administered as a mixture of rapid/short-acting and intermediate-acting insulins in 1 to 2 injections. Twice daily injections are preferred for better glycemic control. With the 2-injection regimen, generally two-thirds of the daily dose is given before breakfast and one-third is given before the evening meal.
