CAMPA stands for Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA). The Compensatory Afforestation Fund Act, 2016. Act provides for the establishment of funds under the public accounts of India and the public accounts of each State which will be used for compensatory afforestation. It extends to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
