Indian Navy successfully conducted test firing of Medium Range Surface to Air Missile (MRSAM)

The Indian Navy undertook its maiden cooperative engagement firing of Medium Range Surface to Air Missile (MRSAM) and has achieved a significant milestone in enhancing its Anti Air Warfare Capability.
It is jointly developed by DRDL Hyderabad (a DRDO Lab), in collaboration with Israel Aerospace Industries.
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is an agency of the Government of India, charged with the military's research and development, headquartered in New Delhi, India. It was formed in 1958.
