Kerala police has become first police department in the country to use a humanoid 'robocop' for police work.

• The name of the robot is KP-BOT and it has been given a Sub Inspector or SI ranking.
• It was developed by Kerala Police Cyberdome.
• It will be stationed to perform front office duties at the police headquarters.
